What I am all about.
How many people, do you think, have questioned how our Sun "burns" without any air in space, when they were 10 years old? And, how many of them spent hours in front of the computer, learning what light is or how energy is generated through fusion, even before learning to do multiplication?
Well, I did. I have always been so curious, that I have broken a lot of things, just to see what's inside, to see how it works. And, curiosity is what led me into the rabbit hole, when I was in high school.
Right now, I am working on a lot of side projects especially , because I believe that is the fun part of this wonderland, this madness called technology. Working on projects that ranges from robotics to web app development or machine learning applications has led me to be an adaptable person, because now I don't believe in "I don't know"s or "I can't"s.
Everyone is already afraid of big bad AI, and they should be. Even though there are still huge steps to take, I believe we will be able to create Irvin Good's AI soon, and we -developers and scientists- should be careful.
Deep Reinforcement Learning
Even though not data efficient, I believe reinforcement learning -especially curiosity driven deep reinforcement learning- is a great way to achieve AGI, because it can break itself loose of human dogmas.
Robotics is a great passion of mine, because not only it brings a lot of physical constraints which are fun to solve, but also creates extra challenges on maintainability, usability and so on.
These are the fun problems in computer science. Everyone can code -and I believe everyone should learn to code-, but not everyone can work with abstract data types or complex algorithms, and that is where I shine.

I love reading scientific and philosophical books that are about future and artificial general intelligence such as "Superintelligence by Nick Bostrom" or "How To Create A Mind by Ray Kurzweil".
Aside from occasional workout and football (soccer) games, I have been playing basketball for more than ten years. I do not follow the games day to day, yet I never miss an important game either.
I am fond of jazz, especially the classics such as Miles Davis, Chick Corea, Herbie Hancock and Art Blakey.
